Do people even celebrate this? Should I be somewhere drinking Sangria in honor of Cristoforo Colombo? I can’t even get Sangria downtown today. Freakin’ everything’s closed.
You know who does know how to party?
That’s right. In case you were planning a rather large, festive Columbus Day blowout, Papa John‘s can help you save a little cash. Mmmm. Perfect Pan.
Party on, indeed.
Needless to say, it’s a “low-focus” day. I’ve been busy, but I don’t feel like I’m making any sort of real progress. I feel like a kid who’s waiting for the last day of school to come, actually.
Maybe a lap around the block, some fresh caffeine and a new perspective will help.
Oh, and to my friends listening to the show last night where I openly admitted that I let the voter registration deadline for Maryland pass, I did find out that if I mail it tomorrow, I’m set. đ So, fear not, Paige, Erin and TW, I will vote this year. For the Libertarian. đ
Thanks for railing me on that, guys. My good, old-fashioned American guilt took over and I hated the thought of not voting for SOMEBODY. I’m glad I’ve still got the chance. Even though I live in Maryland. With a West Virginia drivers license. And Tennessee plates.
As my friend Nick says, I’m a mess.
I’m also dragging today and can’t put my finger on what, exactly, is up.
But I’d also like to share with you, since you’ve broadcast a Papa’s ad how in my desire for drunken full-belly food before bed Saturday night, I insisted I remembered pizza delivery numbers in Huntington, but ended up drunk dialing 3-4 wrong numbers.
Mmmmesss đ
Day off? Not here…..I’ve had three hours of rehearsal thus far, with two more to go tonight! Evidently the South doesn’t appreciate Senor Columbo…..
I’m not off today. A lot of restaurants downtown are, though. Grrr.
I didn’t even get a full day off. I had training to go to in the morning!
Aww. đŚ Sorry, man. I did a full 10 hours.
