And you say nobody listens

They listen.

We\'re ready to believe you

We're ready to believe you

I actually called. A guy named Julio answered. He asked if he could help me. I froze in panic and hung up.

However, Brandon says that they’ll talk to you about the Internet — they’ll describe a Web site, read a blog, all that stuff.

Vegas odds on how long this will last?

So it’s like Internets for the blind? I call when I want to hear a voice, or when I want to read your blog but can’t get to it?
    And spooky.

How funny is it that you froze!?! Here you are on the phone with someone in which their sole purpose is to just listen to you… and you couldn’t say anything. Love it!

Ann: It’s for anybody. Anybody can call and talk to the Internet. If you’re interested in the Internet for blind people, I would be lax if I didn’t recommend: http://www.pornfortheblind.org. Laugh now. Thank me later.

Erin: Total. Panic. I locked up. I didn’t know what to say!! (Which for me is rare!)

Hey, blind people need entertaining too. I used to do Radio for the Blind for my mandatory community service in high school. It was great. All periodicals, all the time. When I wasn’t reading Science Fiction & Fantasy Quarterly on the air, I was reading the obituaries from the Huntington paper–because, you know, people wanna know if they’re dead. There was even a crusty old volunteer guy who showed up to read Playboy, which was probably our highest rated show. I’d say that he just read it for the articles, but rule #1 at Radio for the Blind…if there are pictures, you best be describing them.

Paige, that’s cool that you read from the Fantasy and Science Fiction Quarterly on the air. Who was your favourite author?
