1,000 words

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about work tonight.

I kept coming back to this.

I don’t want to draw this out with a lot of bitching with inside baseball that could either get me taken out or you wouldn’t understand.

It’s just been weighing heavily on my mind the last few days.

I’m a “stop talking about it and do it” person. I work for people who have a lot of meetings. This goest against every fiber of me, and it’s just been a lot lately. It’s just wearing me down. It makes me tired even thinking about another meeting.

Eh, I’ll shake it off. My warm, soft bed awaits. Tomorrow’s a new day. Buck up, little trooper.

This is so why I like working nights at my daily newspaper. One meeting, early, that lasts maybe 15-20 minutes. Then it’s MY show. MINE!

    And Jimmy don’t do meetings.

There are so many. And so many of them are just not what I’d hope for. Sigh.

    I envy you. 🙂
