If I had $1,000,000 …

This would be on its way to my house right now.

Oh, yeah. That’s an R2-D2 garbage can.

Forget the kitchen or the bathroom. That thing would be a living room centerpiece.

Can something be the coolest thing ever if 99% of the people who want it are entirely uncool?

I mean, I’m still bitter about missing out on a great wooden doll-house in a silent auction a few months ago (no, I don’t have any dolls, but the house was still great), but that’s because I’m a nerd, not because the house was cool…

    I think so, though.

I’ve completed my Star Wars training. I’m not 100 percent in love with it, but it really doesn’t suck. I’m pleasantly OK with it.

Don’t get me wrong, I really like Star Wars. Not enough to own a costume, go to a convention, or (one hopes) never go out with a woman, but I do like Star Wars a lot…

Of course, what it REALLY needs is to beep when you put trash in it and have Leia say “Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi; you’re my only hope” when it’s full…

Then, of course, you get into the Chewbacca rug and the Boba Fett wall-mount trophy… the key is to negate nerd-dom with irony…

Oh, if that thing beeped when it got trash in it and did the “Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi” when it got full you can GUARANTEE I would have bought it right then, even if it was $125.

I’m in love with the concept of the Chewbacca rug, though.
